Job Opening: Technology & Project Implementation Manager

The Technology & Project Implementation Officer is responsible for the successful planning, coordination, execution, and continuous improvement of technology-related projects and system implementations. The role ensures effective adoption of technology solutions across the organization by working with internal teams, vendors, and clients to optimize operational efficiency and compliance.

Accountabilities

  1. Technology Implementation & Project Coordination
    • Develop and manage technology implementation roadmaps with defined milestones and deadlines.
    • Coordinate and oversee the deployment of new technology solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
    • Ensure optimal usage and business process efficiency for existing software. Including CAFMTEK, Powertek, Carbontek, HRMS, Farnek Buddy, E procurement, H&G App etc.
    • Collaborate with ICT, vendors, and internal teams to ensure seamless execution of implementation phases.
    • Conduct scope definition, requirement analysis, system study, gap analysis, vendor selection, testing, verification, and roll-out.
  2. Database Management
    • Manage system databases by activating and deactivating new contacts, staff records, and related data.
    • Maintain database accuracy, consistency, and integrity across all managed systems.
    • Ensure timely updates and documentation of changes in database systems.
  3. Operational Compliance & Stakeholder Management
    • Ensure compliance with technology adoption guidelines and best practices.
    • Act as the key point of contact between operations, ICT teams, and vendors to resolve escalations.
    • Engage with department heads and clients to align technology projects with operational needs.
  4. Training & Support
    • Develop training materials and conduct user training to ensure smooth onboarding of new technology solutions.
    • Provide ongoing support to operations teams for system usage and troubleshooting.
    • Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and ensure proper documentation of system enhancements.
  5. KPI Tracking & Performance Monitoring
    • Define and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure technology adoption and effectiveness.
    • Monitor implementation progress and report insights to senior management.
    • Identify bottlenecks and propose continuous improvement strategies to enhance system performance.
  6. Financial & Documentation Support
    • Ensure timely submission of weekly and monthly reports to management and clients.
    • Assist in financial processes related to project invoicing, accounts receivable (A/R), and accounts payable (A/P).
    • Maintain comprehensive documentation for project plans, system implementations, issue logs, and resolutions.
  7. Post-Implementation Support & Continuous Improvement
    • Conduct post-implementation assessments to evaluate system impact and effectiveness.
    • Work with IT teams to deploy updates, patches, and system optimizations.
    • Identify additional training needs and recommend process enhancements.

Education/Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Technology, or a related field.
  • Project Management Certification (PMP, PRINCE2) preferred.
  • ITIL or other technology service management certifications are an advantage

Experience (experience required for the job)

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in technology implementation, IT project management, or digital transformation.
  • Proven ability to manage technology rollouts, ensuring adoption and operational compliance
  • Experience working with enterprise software solutions (CAFM, ERP, CRM, or similar)

Skills

  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies and technology implementation best practices.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) and project management tools.
  • Familiarity with system testing, UAT, and bug tracking.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
  • High attention to detail, ensuring compliance with processes and best practices.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously
